ORDER
This Writ Petition is filed with the following relief:
“Issue a Writ of Mandamus, declaring the action of the 3rd respondent in not registering the FIR in pursuance of the petitioner’s complaint dated 20.07.2016 as illegal, arbitrary and contrary to law and consequently direct the 3rd respondent to forthwith register the FIR in pursuance of the petitioner’s complaint dated 20.07.2016.”
2. Learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that questioning the action of respondent No.3 in not registering the crime in pursuance of the report/representation of the petitioner dated 20.07.2016, this petition is filed seeking appropriate direction.
3. Mr. R. Laxmikantha Reddy, Learned Assistant Government Pleader would submit that on receipt of the petitioner’s complaint dated 20.07.2016, Cr. No.422 of 2016 was registered and charge sheet was filed. Subsequently, Calendar Case vide C.C. No.198 of 2017 was numbered on the file of Principal Judicial Magistrate of I Class, Malkajgiri. Later, the issues between the parties were amicably settled before the Lok Adalat and in consequence the offences were formally compounded by the Court concerned on 20.09.2020.
