ORDER

This Writ Petition is filed with the following relief:

“Issue a Writ of Mandamus, declaring the action of the 3^rd respondent in not registering the FIR in pursuance of the petitioner’s complaint dated 20.07.2016 as illegal, arbitrary and contrary to law and consequently direct the 3^rd respondent to forthwith register the FIR in pursuance of the petitioner’s complaint dated 20.07.2016.”

2. Learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that questioning the action of respondent No.3 in not registering the crime in pursuance of the report/representation of the petitioner dated 20.07.2016, this petition is filed seeking appropriate direction.

3. Mr. R. Laxmikantha Reddy, Learned Assistant Government Pleader would submit that on receipt of the petitioner’s complaint dated 20.07.2016, Cr. No.422 of 2016 was registered and charge sheet was filed. Subsequently, Calendar Case vide C.C. No.198 of 2017 was numbered on the file of Principal Judicial Magistrate of I Class, Malkajgiri. Later, the issues between the parties were amicably settled before the Lok Adalat and in consequence the offences were formally compounded by the Court concerned on 20.09.2020. Thus, the contention raised by the petitioner has no basis.

4. I have perused the material on record.

Having regard to the developments that have been transpired during the pendency of this petition reported by the learned Assistant Government Pleader and the contest of the petitioner has been effectively redressed by the respondents, this Court is of the view that no cause survives in this petition for adjudication.

6. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs.

Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in the Writ Petition, shall stand closed.
