The present Writ Petition is filed aggrieved by non-
consideration of the representation of the petitioner seeking permission to register online for counselling for admission into the MBBS/BDS Course under B-Category (Management Quota) for the academic year 2025-26.
2. Heard Sri Uzair Ahmed Khan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Sri T. Sharath, learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondent-University.
3. Learned counsel for the petitioner had contended that the petitioner has appeared for National Eligibility-cum- Entrance Test (NEET)-UG 2025 and she had secured a decent rank. The respondent-University issued a notification dated 31.07.2025 inviting online registrations for B-Category (Management Quota) seats, with the last date being 07.08.2025. However, due to ill health, the petitioner was unable to register within the stipulated time.
