This Criminal Petition is filed by the petitioners-accused Nos.1 to 3 seeking to quash the proceedings against them in C.C.No.234 of 2021 on the file of I Additional Judicial First Class Magistrate at Mancherial. The offences alleged against the petitioners are under Sections 498-A, 323 of the Indian Penal Code (for short ‘IPC’) and sections 3 and 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act (for short ‘the Act’) and Section 156(3)

of the Criminal Procedure Code (for short Cr.P.C.).

02. Heard Mr.Kondadi Ajay Kumar, learned counsel for the petitioners-accused Nos.1 to 3. There is no representation on behalf of respondent No.2 inspite of service of notice, hence heard Smt.S.Madhavi, learned Assistant Public Prosecutor for the State on behalf of respondent No.2.

03. In brief, the case of the prosecution is that the

marriage of the accused No.1 with the respondent No.2 was solemnized in the month of February, 2017. After marriage
