JUDGMENT:

This is an appeal preferred by the appellant/petitioner aggrieved by the order, dated 07.10.2022, passed in M.V.O.P.No.3007 of 2017 by the learned Chairman, Motor Accidents Claims Tribunal-cum-X Additional Chief Judge, City Civil Courts, Hyderabad.

2. Heard both sides. Perused the record.

The brief facts of the case are that the appellant filed the claim petition seeking compensation of Rs.20,00,000/- with interest from the respondents jointly and severally on account of injuries sustained by him in a road traffic accident. On 06.10.2017 at 5.30 P.M., when the appellant was proceeding from Mallappa Madiga to Saipur on the way when he reached HP Petrol pump near Indira chouk, one lorry bearing No.AP.24Y 7324 came from behind and dashed the appellant and ran over his left leg. The appellant sustained total amputation of left lower limb, degloving injury of left thigh with massive nerves loss, crush injury of right thigh and other multiple injuries all over the body.
