ORDER :

This criminal petition is filed by the petitioner/accused under Section 482 of Cr.P.C., seeking to quash the proceedings against the petitioner in Crime No.105 of 2018 on the file of XXIV Metropolitan Magistrate, Cyberabad at Kukatpally, for the offences under Sections 307, 324, 498-A and Sections 3 and 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act.

2. Since it was brought to the notice of this Court that the learned counsel on record, on behalf of the petitioner is no more, this Court, on 27.06.2024, directed the Registry to issue notice to the petitioner. It is reflected on the proceedings sheet that though notice was sent on 03.07.2024, there is no representation on behalf of the petitioner till date.

3. When the matter is taken up for consideration today, learned Assistant Public Prosecutor filed instructions dated 26.06.2024 addressed to the Public Prosecutor, High Court for the State of Telangana, by the Sub-Inspector of Police, Balanagar P.S, Cyberabad Commissionerate, and submitted that the cause in the criminal petition does not survive for consideration. He also submits that the Crime No.105 of 2018 on the file of XXIV Metropolitan Magistrate, Cyberabad at Kukatpally has been investigated upon and that the charge sheet has also been filed and the same is numbered as S.C.No.328 of 2023 on the file of A.S.J, Kukatpally and the proceedings are pending against A2 to A6 and that A1 was not attending before the Court.

4. Since the cause does not survive for consideration in this criminal petition, this Court deems it proper to dispose off the same, granting liberty to the petitioner to workout his remedies, in accordance with law.

5. With the above direction, the present criminal petition is disposed off.
