ORDER:

This Criminal Petition is filed seeking to quash the proceedings against the petitioners/accused Nos.1 and 2 and 5 to 7 in C.C.No.1702 of 2024 on the file of the learned Principal Judicial Magistrate of First Class, Suryapet, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 323, 504 and 506 read with 34 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 (for short ‘IPC’).

2. The brief facts of the case are that on 20.07.2024 respondent No.2/ de facto complainant lodged a report before the Police stating that he got married to Smt. Chaithanya Kumari about three years ago as per their caste customs. However, marital disputes arose between them for the past two and a half years, and his wife has already filed a case under Section 498-A IPC at Mancherial Police Station, which is currently under trial. On 15.06.2024 at around 14:30 hours, while his relatives were at Prajna Hospital, Suryapet, he, along with his parents Chandramma and Bhadraiah, went there.
