ORDER
This Criminal Petition is filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 by the petitioner/accused, seeking to quash the proceeding in C.C No.264 of 2019 (old C.C No.106 of 2016) on the file of the I Additional Junior Civil Judge, Armoor, registered for the offence under Sections 497 and 506 of Indian Penal Code.
2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the cause in this criminal petition does not survive as the case against the petitioner-accused has been acquitted on the file of the I Additional Junior Civil Judge, Armoor and seeks to dismiss the criminal petition as infructuous.
3. Learned Assistant Public Prosecutor takes no objection.
4. Recording the submission of learned counsel for the petitioner, the Criminal Petition is dismissed as infructuous.
Miscellaneous applications, if any pending, shall also stand closed.
