ORDER
This Criminal Petition is filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 by the petitioner/accused No.5, seeking to quash the proceedings in SC No.01 of 2019 on the file of the Principal Sessions Judge for CBI Cases –cum- Special Court under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act, 2002 at Gagan Vihar, Nampally, Hyderabad (for short ‘the trial Court’) for the offences under Sections 3 and 4 of Prevention of Money Laundering Act, 2002.
2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, Sri G.Aravind, learned counsel representing Sri Vivek Jain, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission of this Court to withdraw the criminal petition stating that discharge petition has been filed by the petitioner before the learned trial Court.
3. Sri V.T. Kalyan, learned counsel representing Sri Gadi Praveen Kumar, Deputy Solicitor General of India for respondent takes no objection.
4. Recording the submission of learned counsel for the petitioner, this criminal petition is dismissed as withdrawn.
Miscellaneous applications, if any pending, shall also stand closed.
