O R D E R

Heard learned counsel for the petitioners, learned Government Pleader for Home appearing for respondent Nos.1 to 9 and with the consent of the learned counsel appearing for the respective parties, the Writ Petition is taken up for hearing and disposal at admission stage.

The case of the petitioners in brief is that though the 1^st petitioner is initially arrested in connection with Crime No.2 of 2024 on the file of Cyber Crime Police Station, Warangal, the respondents herein claiming that complaints have been received against the 1^st petitioner herein, based on which, the respondents-authorities having registered crimes against him, are seeking to execute the same under PT warrants.

Petitioners further contend that since all the aforesaid FIRs registered against the petitioners herein, are arising out of same transaction, the respondents-authorities are to be restrained from registering multiple crimes against the 1^st petitioner and all the FIRs registered are to be clubbed together for being tried, in the light of the judgment of this Court in Akbaruddin Owaisi v/s. State of A.P.

Per contra, learned Government Pleader for Home appearing for respondent Nos.1 to 9 would submit that the 1^st petitioner by using multiple web-sites had facilitated online transactions through his account and as such complaints have been received from various affected people from different locations and based on such complaints, the authorities have registered crimes against the petitioner and are investigating there into; and since, each of the complainant’s grievance is different from one another, the authorities are entitled to register multiple FIRs. 5. I have taken note of the respective contentions urged.

6. The issue relating to registration of multiple FIRs has been considered by a Division Bench of this Court in detail in the case of Jakir Hussain Kosangi v/s. State of Andhra Pradesh, 2018 (4) ALD 180, and the Division Bench of this Court by considering various judgments of the Apex Court in detail in para 49 had held that wherever complaints in relation to financial transactions are received, registration of multiple FIRs is permitted.

7. Further, a Co-ordinate Bench of this Court following the aforesaid decision also held that registration of multiple FIRs in case of financial transactions is permitted.

8. Further, this Court on 09.06.2025 in W.P.No.14867 of 2025 also took similar view with regard to registration of multiple FIRs at different locations and conducting investigation there into.

In the facts of the case, since, the aggrieved parties, who have approached the respondents-authorities by lodging complaints as to how they have been cheated by the petitioners for transferring the monies into his account, this Court is of the view that the act of the respondents- authorities in registering FIRs based on the aforesaid complaint and taking action to investigate into the same cannot be said to be invalid for the petitioners to approach this Court and seeking direction to restrain the respondents from registering multiple FIRs or for that matter seeking the relief of all the aforesaid FIRs are to be tried together, since, each of the incident and grievance of the parties therein, is different.

10. In view of the above, this Court is of the view that the present Writ Petition lacks merit and it is accordingly dismissed. No order as to costs.

11. Consequently, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending shall stand closed.
