Heard Dr. K. Lakshmi Narasimha, learned counsel for petitioners, Sri S. Rahul Reddy, learned Special Government Pleader on behalf of learned Government Pleader for Prohibition & Excise, Sri R.V. Mallikarjuna Rao, learned counsel for Respondent No.2 and Sri S. Ajay Kumar, learned counsel on behalf of Sri Vadapalli Ramesh, learned counsel for Respondents 5 to 7.

2. This Writ Petition is filed by petitioners to declare the order dated 19-03-2019 passed by the 1st Respondent as illegal, arbitrary and without jurisdiction and consequently to quash the same.

3. It is the case of Petitioners that they were initially appointed as constables in the then Special Armed police at different battalions i.e. 1st, 7th & 8th battalions at Hyderabad District on different dates in 1997 and 1998 and later, they were deputed to work in Prohibition and Excise Department and was subsequently, absorbed as Prohibition and Excise Constable vide proceedings dated 28-05-2009, based on G.O.Ms. No. 1103 dated 17-08-2007.
