ORDER:

The present writ petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India by the petitioners, who are working as RTC Constables in the Greater Hyderabad Zone (GHZ) of Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TGSRTC), seeking direction to the respondent authorities to adhere to the unit system for promotions and transfers and ensure that promotions within GHZ are not adversely affected by transfers from other zones.

2. Heard Sri P.Venkateshwer Rao, learned counsel appearing for the petitioners, Mr. R.Anurag, learned Standing Counsel for TGSRTC appearing for respondent Nos.1 to 3, and learned Government Pleader for Transport Department appearing for respondent No.4 and perused the material available on record.
