ORDER:

The present Criminal Petition is filed by the petitioner-

aggrieved by the order dated 20.11.2024 passed in Crl.M.P.No.270 of 2024 in S.C.No.26 of 2024 on the file of Fast Track Special Judge for Expeditious Trial and Disposal of Rape and POCSO Act Cases, Peddapalli.

2. Heard Sri Ch.Jagannatha Chary, learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri D.Arun Kumar, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents.

3. Crl.M.P.No.270 of 2024 was filed by the petitioner under Section 91 of Cr.P.C, praying the trial Court to direct the respondent-State to produce CC TV footage of Sulthanabad Police Station from 13.06.2024 at 2200 hours to 14.06.2024 at 0900 hours and to produce the same before the Court for cross- examination of investigating officers. The said petition was filed in the month of October, 2024. Generally the C.C.TV footage will be available with the concerned office for thirty days only. Furthermore, the guidelines of Apex Court with regard to installation and maintenance of CC TV systems in the police station as relied in Paramvir Singh Saini V Baljit Siongh and others1 is no way helpful to the petitioner as it is only to safeguard the human rights.
