ORDER:

The present Criminal Petition is filed by the petitioner-

aggrieved by the order dated 29.08.2024 passed in Crl.M.P.No.201 of 2024 in S.C.No.26 of 2024 on the file of Fast Track Special Judge for Expeditious Trial and Disposal of Rape and POCSO Act Cases, Peddapalli.

2. Heard Sri Ch.Jagannatha Chary, learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri D.Arun Kumar, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents.

3. Crl.M.P.No.201 of 2024 was filed by the petitioner under Section 207 of Cr.P.C, praying the trial Court to direct the prosecution to furnish the CC TV footage for conducting proper trial in the interest of justice. The said petition was filed by the petitioner to play the CC TV footage in the open Court for cross-examination of the investigating officer. The trial Court partly allowed the petition observing that petitioner can go through the CC TV footage and DVR report for cross-

examination.

4. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor opposed for the said request of petitioner and prayed to dismiss this petition.

5. Having regard to the submissions made by both the counsel, as the offences alleged against the petitioner are under Sections 363, 364, 376 A, 376 A
