ORDER
Heard learned counsel for petitioner, learned Government Pleader for Home appearing for respondents, and with the consent of the learned counsel appearing for the parties, the Writ Petition is taken up for hearing and disposal at admission stage.
2. The case of the petitioner, in brief, is that basing on the complaint lodged by the petitioner, the respondents-authorities having registered a case vide Cr.No.69/2023, are not conducting investigation into the aforesaid crime registered and not filing charge sheet, which action it is contended as highly illegal and arbitrary.
3. Per contra, learned Government Pleader for Home appearing for respondents submits that subsequent to the petitioner approaching the respondents-authorities and lodging a complaint, the authorities after conducting investigation into the aforesaid crime registered have filed charge sheet before the concerned Court; and that the said charge sheet has been taken cognizance by the concerned Court vide CC.No.984 of 2023 and is pending trial.
4. The aforesaid submission made by the learned Government Pleader for Home is taken on record.
5. Having regard to the fact that the respondents-authorities after conducting investigation into the aforesaid crime registered have filed charge sheet, it is not open for the petitioner to allege inaction on the part of the respondents in conducting investigation and filing charge sheet.
6. Since, the respondents-authorities, after conducting investigation into the aforesaid crime registered, have already filed charge sheet before the concerned Court, which is also taken cognizance by the concerned Court vide CC.No.984 of 2023, this Court is of the view that the grievance of the petitioner in the present Writ Petition stands redressed and no further orders are necessary.
7. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is closed. No order as to costs.
8. Consequently, miscellaneous petitions pending if any shall stand closed. ___________________ T. VINOD KUMAR, J
