HON’BLE SRI JUSTICE C.V. BHASKAR REDDY WRIT PETITION No.11783 of 2025

ORDER

This Writ Petition is filed praying this Court to declare the action of the respondents in not considering the petitioner’s application, dated 27.04.2022 seeking for grant of financial aid under the Chief Minister Relief Fund (CMRF), as illegal, arbitrary and consequently, prayed for other appropriate reliefs. 2. It is the case of the petitioner that she belongs to Scheduled Caste community and working as labourer in Katkoor Village, Akkenapeta Mandal, Siddipet District. It is further case of the petitioner that she has been suffering from severe gynecological problems and initially she took treatment at various hospitals in Siddipet and when her condition did not improve, she was referred to Hyderabad for better treatment and she got admitted in Ferty9 Fertility Center, Marredpally, Secunderabad, and incurred an expenditure of about Rs.5,00,000/- for treatment, by borrowing amount as hand loans from friends and relatives. It is further case of the petitioner that she is eligible for financial assistance under various health schemes introduced by the Government from time to time and as such, she submitted application dated

27.04.2022 seeking financial aid from the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund. The grievance of the petitioner is that even though she is eligible for granting financial assistance under CMRF, the respondents so far not considered her representation. Hence the writ petition.

3. Considered the submissions of the learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri L.Ravinder, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue appearing for respondent Nos.1 to 3 and with their consent, this writ petition is being disposed of at the admission stage.

Prima facie it appears from the record that the petitioner belongs to Below Poverty Line and poorest of the poor and eking out livelihood by working as agricultural labourer and there is no other earning family member to meet the financial necessities and also belongs to Schedule Caste Community, this Court deems it appropriate to dispose of this writ petition directing the respondent authorities to examine the case of the petitioner strictly in terms of the policy laid down by the Government under various schemes and if she is eligible for any financial aid, consider her case for release of the amount including release of C.M.Relief Fund. In the event, if the petitioner is not entitled for release of any amount, the respondent authorities shall pass a reasoned order and communicate the same to the petitioner within a period of three(03) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5. With the above observations, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.

As a sequel, the miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
