ORDER
Heard Smt. N. Shoba, learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Assistant Government Pleader for Mines and Geology appearing for respondent Nos.1 to 3.
Perused the record.
2. Vide order, dated 05.06.2024, respondent No.2 passed the following order:
“1. Quarry lease for Black Granite over an extent of 2.00 Ha in Sy.No.200, 201, 202 and 204 of Chinnanagaram Village, Inugurthy Mandal, Mahabubabad District wherein renewal application is filed by M/s Sree Mohan Granites.
2. Quarry lease for Black Granite over an extent of 1.330 Ha in Sy.No.200/A, 201/A, 202/A & 203 of Chinnanagaram Village, Inugurthy Mandal, Mahabubabad District held by M/s Keerthana Granites.
3. Quarry lease for Black Granite over an extent of 5.262 Ha in Sy.No.203, 204 and 205 of Chinnanagaram Village, Inugurthy Mandal, Mahabubabad District held by M/s Mahalaxmi Granites.”
And the same is in exercise of his powers under Rule 12 of the Telangana State Mine Mineral Concession Rules, 1966 (for short ‘the Rules, 1966’). Challenging the said order, the petitioner herein has filed a revision, dated 20.08.2024 under Rule 35A of the said Rules. Despite receiving and acknowledging and said revision, respondent No.1 is not disposing it of in accordance with law.

Perusal of the record would also reveal that vide representation, dated 12.02.2025, petitioner requested respondent No.1 to dispose of the revision in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible and also grant permission to the petitioner to run the Granites and to proceed with the quarry operation. Despite receiving and acknowledging the said representation, there is no response from respondent No.1. Therefore, aggrieved by the said inaction of respondent No.1, petitioner filed the present writ petition.
4. Whereas, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Mines and Geology, on instructions, would submit that respondent No.1 will dispose of the said revision strictly in accordance with law.
5. In the light of the said submissions, this writ petition is disposed of directing respondent No.1 to dispose of the revision filed by the petitioner on 20.08.2024 challenging the proceedings, dated 05.06.2024 prohibiting the quarry operation of the petitioner over the subject property i.e., land admeasuring 1.330 Ha in Sy.No.200/A, 201/A, 202/A & 203 of Chinnanagaram Village, Inugurthy Mandal, Mahabubabad District, strictly in accordance with law within a period of one (1) month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. There shall be no order as to costs.
As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in the Writ Petition shall stand closed.
