COMMON ORDER

This Criminal Petition is filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C., against the petitioners/A1 to A4 seeking to quash the proceedings in C.C.No.1117 of 2021 on the file of the Court of XXIII Metropolitan Magistrate at Medchal Court, Medchal District. The offences alleged against them are under Sections 498-A of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 3 and 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.

2. Heard learned counsel appearing for the petitioners and learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State. Perused the record.

3. The petitioners/A1 to A4 are being prosecuted by the 2nd respondent for the above said offences. The 2^nd respondent /defacto complainant in the complaint alleged that she married Accused No.1 in the year 2014 and thereafter several disputes arose between them.

4. However, they have filed petitions i.e., I.A.Nos.2 & 3 of 2025 seeking indulgence of this Court to quash the proceedings on the ground of compromise along with a Memorandum of Understanding.
