ORDER:

This Criminal Petition is filed under Sections 480 and 483 of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhitha, 2023 (for short ‘BNSS’) seeking bail to the petitioner/accused No.1 in Crime NCB No.F.No.48/1/1/2024/NCB/HZU of P.S. Kukatpally, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 8(c) r/w 20(b)(ii)(C), 27-A, 28 and 29 of Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985 (for short ‘NDPS Act’).

2. The case of the prosecution is that on 11.04.2024, on receipt of credible information, Police apprehended the petitioner and other accused and seized 721.42 kgs of ganja. Basing on the same, Crime NCB No.F.No.48/1/1/2024/NCB/HZU was registered.

3. Heard Mr.P.Vishnuvardhan Reddy, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.V.T.Kalyan, learned counsel for respondent.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has not committed the offence and he was falsely implicated in the above crime. He further submitted that respondent filed complaint basing on the confession statement given by the other accused No.2 and the said statement is not permissible under law to initiate proceedings agai
