ORDER

Heard learned counsel for the petitioners, learned Government Pleader for Home appearing for respondent Nos.1 to 5, and with the consent of the learned counsel appearing for the parties, the Writ Petition is taken up for hearing and disposal at the admission stage.

2. Having regard to the manner of disposal of the Writ Petition at the admission stage and the nature of lis involved, this Court is of the view that notice to unofficial respondent Nos.6 and 7 is not necessary for adjudication of the present Writ Petition.

3. Shorn of unnecessary details, the case of the petitioners, in brief, is that the 5th respondent is frequently calling the petitioners to the police station and making them sit for long time without issuing any notice and without there being any crime registered against them, which action of the respondents it is contended is highly illegal and arbitrary.

4. Petitioners further contend that it is the petitioners who had approached the respondents-authorities and lodged a complaint on 12.03.2205 against the 7th respondent and that the respondents- authorities, without taking any action on the afo
