This Criminal Petition is filed under Section 528 of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS), 2023 seeking to reduce the quantum of the deposit amount ordered by the Appellate Court while suspending the sentence, in an appeal under the N.I. Act.

2. Heard Ms. D. Sandhya, learned counsel representing Sri J. Rajeswar, learned counsel for the petitioner/accused as well as Sri Jithender Rao Veeramalla, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent No.1 -State.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submit that the petitioner has suffered a huge financial loss and is unable to pay the amount ordered by the Appellate Court while suspending the sentence.

4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor has submitted to pass appropriate orders.
