ORDER

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home appearing for respondents. With the consent of the parties, this writ petition is being taken up for disposal at the admission stage itself.

2. This writ petition has been filed seeking the following prayer:-

“…to declare the action of the respondents Particularly respondent No.3 in not considering the petitioner’s representation dated 31.12.2025 with regard to the under trial prisoner Gade Innaiah @ Inna Reddy, UT.No.6743, lodged at Chanchalguda Central Prison, Hyderabad to provide adequate medical facilities and frequent medical examination, basic amenities, protein/ fiber rich nutritious food and as per his medical condition and requirements, books to be allowed for reading and writing as being illegal, arbitrary, discriminatory, against the principles of natural justice and in violation of Articles 14, 19 and 21 of the Constitution of India and consequently direct the respondent authorities to consider the petitioner’s representation dated 31.12.2025 to provide a Bed and chair suitable for his spinal condition, permit a hot food box and insulated water bottle for carrying warm food and water, conduct weekly medical examinations, permit family to deposit books, pens, papers and notebooks for reading and writing to distract himself from mental trauma, and extend all other necessary medical and humanitarian facilities to the said under trial prisoner and also to provide a copy of medical records and prescription to the family, and to pass...”

3. Though various grounds are raised in the writ petition, learned counsel for the petitioner restricts his prayer seeking a direction to respondent authorities to dispose the petitioner’s representation dated

31.12.2025, in a time bound period.

4. Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home appearing for respondents submits that if the petitioner’s representation dated 31.12.2025 is still pending for consideration; the respondent authorities may be directed to dispose of the said representation and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law.

5. In view of the submission made by learned counsel appearing on either side and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this writ petition is disposed of directing the respondent authorities to dispose the petitioner’s representation dated 31.12.2025 and furnish details of all the crimes registered/pending against the petitioner, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of three (03) weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order and communicate the same to the petitioner.

6. Accordingly this writ petition is disposed of. Miscellaneous applications, if any pending, shall stand closed. No order as to costs.
