This criminal petition is filed seeking to quash the proceedings against the petitioner-accused No.1 in CC No.597 of 2024 on the file of Judicial Magistrate of First Class at Dharmapuri, registered for the offences under Sections 447, 427 and 506 IPC.

2. Heard Mr.K.S. Sunil, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.Jithender Rao Veeramalla, learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondent No.1-State.

Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that there is a long drawn civil litigation between the parties and that it is a joint family property for which there are civil disputes pending between the parties and that since both the parties jointly own agricultural land, the offence of trespass cannot be alleged against the petitioner.
