Heard Sri.Harender Pershad, learned senior counsel appearing for the

petitioner and learned Government Pleader for Home appearing for

respondent Nos.1 and 2. With their consent this writ petition is taken up for

disposal at the admission stage itself.

2. This writ petition is filed seeking following prayer:-

“to direct the Respondents to consider the Complaint dated

21.11.2025 acknowledged as Petition

No.DGP/COORD/251125/09737 and the subsequent threats and

thereby provide adequate Police protection to the Petitioner and her

family members at Telangana State (Hyderabad, Hanamakonda and

Mahabubabad).”

3. Brief facts stated in this writ petition are that petitioner is a resident of

H.No.2-10-635/1, Teachers Colony, Hanamkonda, Warangal District and

petitioner’s husband and son are practicing advocates in Hon’ble Supreme

Court of India, New Delhi and in view of their practice, petitioner and her

family members are staying in New Delhi and frequently visiting to Telangana

State. It is submitted that petitioner’s family got threats which arise out of

petitioner’s son matrimonial dispute and a complaint dated 16.12.2025 was

also filed before the SHO, Defence Colony, Delhi. The case of the petitioner is

that on 21.11.2025 at about 3:24 PM, one Janga Raghava Reddy, believed to be

a rowdy sheeter, who is no way concerned to petitioner and her family

members, through Mobile No.9676809999, made a call to petitioner’s husband

and during telephonic conversation, the said person started abusing

petitioner’s husband and threatened that he would destroy and hurdle

petitioner’s husband and son. Hence, petitioner’s husband on 21.11.2025,

through E-mail, lodged a complaint and requested respondent No.2 to take

action against the said Janga Raghava Reddy. However, till date no action is

taken against the complaint dated 21.11.2025.

4. Learned senior counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that

the petitioner along with her family members are visiting Hyderabad,

Hanamakonda and Mahabubabad from 23.12.2025 to 04.01.2026 and since

there is imminent danger from Janga Raghava Reddy, learned senior counsel

would pray this Court to direct the respondent authorities to provide police

protection to the petitioner and her family members from 24.12.2025 to

04.01.2026.

5. Learned Government Pleader for Home appearing for respondent Nos.1

and 2 placed on record instructions issued by Commissioner of Police, Warangal,

wherein it is submitted that petitioner’s husband complaint dated 21.11.2025 was

forwarded to the Station House officer, Subedari Police Station, Warangal

Commissionerate, for necessary action and report. On such complaint, GD entry

vide petition No.DGP/COORD/251125/09737 dated 04.12.2025, was made and

enquiry was conducted. During the course of enquiry, petitioner’s husband was

requested to produce evidence with regard to the threat calls, however, he did

not produced the same. It is further submitted that the enquiry officer had

obtained Call Data Record (CDR) of the alleged caller and it was revealed that

the petitioner’s husband on 21.11.2025, has called the alleged caller thrice i.e., at

15:18:32, 15:23:12 and 15:24:43 vide Tower ID No.404-49-31804-245903668. It was

further revealed that at the time of call, the petitioner’s husband was at Delhi and

the alleged caller was at Plot No.20, Sy.No.686, near Agricultural Market yard,

Jammikunta, Karimnagar District and both the areas did not falls under the

jurisdiction of Subedari Police Station, Hanumakonda Division, Warangal

Commissionerate.

6. Learned Government Pleader for Home submits that the petitioner’s

husband did not furnish any evidence to establish his grievance and moreover,

as per the enquiry, since 21.11.2025 to till date, the pe
