When the matter is taken up for hearing, Mr. N.B. Sudarshan, learned counsel for the petitioners submits that, by efflux of time, all the retiral benefits have been released to the respondent-employee, who has also received the entire amounts. He further submits that, in view of the fact that the respondent has crossed the age of superannuation long back, the matter has since become infructuous.
2. In view of the same, the Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. There shall be no order as to costs.
In view of the matter having become infructuous, the amendment application vide I.A.No.1 of 2013 (WPMP No.41377 of 2013) and miscellaneous applications pending, if any, shall stand closed.
