ORDER :

This Writ Petition is filed seeking a direction to the respondents

to process and settle the pensionary benefits of the petitioner

together with interest as per rules.

2. Heard Sri A.Bhuvanasunder Reddy, learned counsel for the

petitioner and the learned Government Pleader for Services-III for

respondents. With their consent, this Writ Petition is taken up for

disposal at the admission stage itself.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the

petitioner was retired from service on 31.5.2025 on attaining the age

of superannuation as Senior Accountant in the office of Pension

Payment Office, Secunderabad. Thereafter, he made a

representation to the respondents on 18.7.2025 to process and issue

necessary orders regarding his pensionary benefits. At that

juncture, respondents have orally informed the petitioner that due to

pendency of Writ Petition No.43697 of 2018 before this Court, his

pension cannot be processed. Petitioner further submits that the

said writ petition was allowed by this Court on 2.4.2025, setting

aside the impugned order therein. Therefore, petitioner submitted

another representation to the respondents on 17.10.2025, requesting

to process and settle his pensionary benefits, however, so far no

action has been taken. Therefore, petitioner seeks indulgence of this

Court to direct the respondents to consider the representation of the

petitioner dated 17.10.2025 and release the pensionary benefits of

the petitioner, by duly taking into consideration the order passed by

this Court in W.P.No.43697 of 2018 dated 2.4.2025 within a

stipulated period of time.

4. The learned Government Pleader appearing for the respondents

submits that the respondents will consider the representation of the

petitioner dated 17.10.2025, as per law.

5. Having regard to the submissions by the respective parties and

without going into merits of the matter, the writ petition is disposed

of directing the respondents to consider the representation of the

petitioner dated 17.10.2025 and pass appropriate orders thereon by

duly taking into consideration the order passed by this Court in

W.P.No.43697 of 2018 dated 2.4.2025 and release the pensionary

benefits of the petitioner, in accordance with law, within a period of

eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall

stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
