ORDER

Crl.P.No.15242 of 2025 is filed by the petitioner/A.4, Crl.P.No.15243 of 2025 is filed by the petitioner/A.2 and Crl.P.No.15387 of 2025 is filed petitioners/A.9, A.8 & A.7 respectively seeking anticipatory bail in connection with Crime No.386 of 2025 of Mangalhat Police Station, Hyderabad District. The offences alleged against the petitioners are under Sections 109, 329 (4), 324(4), 137(2), 351(3), 303 r/w.3(5) of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 and under Section 3(1) (r) (s) (c) of Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989 (for short ‘SC/ST Act’).

The complainant lodged a complaint stating that about four months ago, his brother Srikanth fell in love with their neighbor, Dhanalaxmi, daughter of Deepak Singh, belonging to the Lodh community and without informing their families, Srikanth and Dhanalaxmi got registered marriage and living separately. On 07.11.2025, Dhanalaxmi’s family came to know about the marriage and her brothers, Rohit and Yash, threatened to kill Srikanth. Fearing for their safety, Srikanth and Dhanalaxmi left their residence. On the intervening night of 07/08.11.2025 at about 1:30 AM, believing that Srikanth might be at home, Dhanalaxmi’s brothers Rohit, Yash along with their relatives Akash, Shiva, Aniketh, Kuldeep, and others, forcibly entered the complainant’s residence broke the lock, kicked the door open, and entered the house with stones. Unable to find Srikanth, they caught hold of the complainant and verbally abused him using caste-based slurs, assaulted him and his elder brother, Kiran Kumar, with stones and their hands. Rohit took a steel rod from the kitchen curtain and hit the complainant on the head causing a bleeding injury. Yash picked up an empty gas cylinder from the kitchen and hit Kiran Kumar on his chest and shoulders, attempting to kill him. When their mother and sister-in-law tried to intervene they were pushed aside and threatened by the accused. The attackers also took away the mobile phone of his sister-in-law. It is further stated that Rohit and others then forcibly dragged the complainant to an auto garage near Sitla Mata Temple, Puranapul. There, they surrounded him, continued to abuse him with caste-based slurs and demanded to reveal Srikanth’s location. They beat him with their hands and kicked his legs, and attempted to murder him, before leaving him at the spot. The complainant returned home and, with the help of patrolling police, he and his brother Kiran Kumar went to Mangalhat Police Station, where they were referred to OGH and from there to CC Shroff Hospital, Kachiguda and after treatment, the complainant returned home, while Kiran Kumar was under treatment. Hence, he requested the police to take action against the accused persons basing on which, police registered the case against the accused for the above offences.
