ORDER

This Writ Petition is filed aggrieved by the action of respondents No.5 and 6 in not taking any action on the representations of the petitioners dated 10.02.2025, pertaining to the installation of a statue of Sri Potuluri Veerabrahmendra Swamy by respondents No.7 to 12 in the land belonging to the petitioners.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioners, learned Government Pleader for Panchayat Raj, appearing for respondent No.1, learned Government Pleader for Revenue, appearing for respondents No.2 to 5 and Sri K.Pradeep Reddy, learned Standing Counsel for Gram Panchayat, appearing for respondent No.6.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that the petitioners have made a representation dated 10.02.2025 requesting demolition of the illegal installation of the statue of Sri Potuluri Veerabrahmendra Swamy by respondents No.7 to 12 in petitioner’s land admeasuring Ac.1-20 guntas in Sy.No.890/AA situated in Tallada Revenue Village, Thallada Mandal and Khammam District. However, the same has not been considered by the respondent authorities. It is further submitted that the unofficial respondents installed the statue and respondents No.3 to 6 have not taken any action in spite of the representation made by the petitioners.

4. In view thereof, respondent No.6 is directed to consider the representation of the petitioners dated 10.02.2025 and take action in accordance with law, after issuing notices to all concerned parties and affording a reasonable opportunity of hearing to the petitioners and others.

5. With the above directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.

6. Miscellaneous applications, if any, pending in this Writ Petition, shall stand closed.
