ORDER :

This Writ Petition (TR) is filed aggrieved by the inaction of the respondents in considering the case of the petitioners for their retrospective promotion to the post of School Assistant/LFT ‘Head Master’ over and above their juniors with all consequential benefits despite their repeated representations as illegal, discriminatory, arbitrary, and subversive of Articles 14, 16 and 21 of the Constitution of India.

2. Heard Sri Surender Reddy, learned counsel for the petitioners and learned Government Pleader for Services-I appearing for respondent Nos.1 to 5.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that despite the interim orders granted by the erstwhile Andhra Pradesh Administrative Tribunal dated 01.02.2016, no action has been taken by the respondents in passing necessary orders on the representation of the petitioners dated 14.12.2025 in pursuance of the recommendations of respondent No.4 vide proceedings dated 22.12.2015. Therefore, learned counsel seeks indulgence of this Court to issue necessary directions to the respondents.

4. Learned Government Pleader for Services-I appearing on behalf of the respondents fairly submits that respondent No.5 will consider the same and pass appropriate orders on the representation of the petitioners dated 14.12.2015, if not already passed, strictly in accordance with law.

Having regard to the submissions made by learned counsel for the respective parties, this Writ Petition (TR) is disposed of directing the respondents to pass appropriate orders on the representation of the petitioners dated 14.12.2015 in pursuance of the proceedings R.C.No.4542/B4/2015, dated 22.12.2015, issued by respondent No.4, if not already passed, strictly in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of six (6) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate a copy thereof to the petitioners.

Miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.

There shall be no order as to costs.
