O R D E R:

This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India seeking the following relief/s:-

“…to issue a writ, order or direction more particularly one in the nature of writ of Mandamus to declare the delay and inaction on the part of the respondent No.1 in registering the FIR against respondent Nos. 4 and 5 in pursuant to the complaint dated 27.09.2018 made by the petitioner even inspite of the contents of the complaint clearly disclose the commission of cognizable offences of cheating and criminal breach of trust committed by the respondent Nos. 4 and 5 as arbitrary, illegal and contrary to Sec. 154 Cr.P.C. and consequently direct the respondent No.1 to register the FIR against respondent Nos. 4 and 5 for the offences under Sec.380, 417, 406 and 420 IPC based on the complaint made by the petitioner on 27-09-2018 against respondent Nos.4 and 5 for commission of the offences of cheating and criminal breach of trust in terms of Sec.154 Cr.P.C. and proceed with the investigation in accordance with law in the interest of justice.…”

2. Heard Ms. K.Kishanmayee, learned counsel representing Mr. P.Nagendra Reddy, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. D.Pradeep, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home appearing for respondent Nos.1 to 3.

3. Learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that the respondent police authorities failed to register a crime pursuant to the representation dated 27.09.2018 made by the petitioner, and therefore seeks appropriate directions from this Court.

4. Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home, in reply, submits that the said representation was registered as Crime No. 641 of 2018, and after due investigation, a charge sheet was filed in C.C. No. 578 of 2020 on the file of the learned XI Additional Judicial Magistrate of First Class, Kukatpally. The matter is presently pending before the Trial Court. Hence, it is contended that the grievance raised by the petitioner no longer survives for consideration.

5. I have perused the material available on record.

6. Having regard to the developments reported by the learned Assistant Government Pleader, it is evident that the grievance of the petitioner has already been effectively redressed by the respondent police authorities. Therefore, nothing further remains for adjudication in this matter.

7. Accordingly, this writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. There shall be no order as to costs.

Miscellaneous Petitions, pending if any, shall stand closed.
