ORDER
This Writ Petition is filed with the following relief:
“Issue a writ, order or direction more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus declaring the action of respondents in seizing and retaining the petitioner’s passport bearing No.K8422267 which was renewed on 27.08.2012, as illegal, arbitrary, violative of principles of natural justice in violation of law laid down by the Hon’ble Supreme Court reported in the case of Suresh Nanda v. C.B.I. reported in 2008(5) SCJ 392 – 24 January, 2008 and also in the case of Arnesh Kumar v. State of Bihar apart from violative of Articles 1 and
21 of the Constitution of India………”
2. None appeared on behalf of the petitioner.
3. Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home submits that during the course of investigation in Crime No. 21 of 2018 of the Women Police Station, Begumpet, the passport of the petitioner was seized as part of the investigation and was produced before the Court of the XV Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Nampally, on 22.09.2018.
