ORDER

This Criminal Petition is filed under Section 528 of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 (for short ‘BNSS’) by the petitioner-accused No.1 seeking to quash the proceedings against him in Crime No.263 of 2024 of Amangal Police Station, Cyberabad, registered for the alleged offences punishable under Sections 420, 419, 467 and 506 read with Section 34 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 (for short ‘IPC’).

2. Heard Mr. J.Vijay Kumar Goud, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. E.Ganesh, learned Assistant Public Prosecutor appearing for respondent No.1-State.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is a practising Advocate, he is not involved in any of the alleged offences of forgery or cheating or withdrawal of the suit in collusion with another Advocate as alleged by the de facto complainant and that he is only a counsel on record. Hence, he prayed to quash the proceedings against the petitioner.
