ORDER :

This criminal revision case is filed by the petitioners aggrieved by the order dated 08.05.2024 in M.C.No.14 of 2024 on the file of I-Additional Family Court, Kalpatharu, Puranihaveli, Hyderabad wherein the Family Court awarded Rs.10,000/- per month each as maintenance to the petitioners therein from the date of order.

2. Heard Sri Nooty Vasishta Venkateswarlu, learned counsel for the petitioners.

3. The contention of learned counsel for the petitioners is that M.C.No.14 of 2024 is filed by the petitioners herein who are wife and daughter of respondent No.2 claiming maintenance of Rs.40,000/- towards shelter, food, cloth, medicines etc. The respondent therein who is the husband remained exparte, as such, instead of taking adverse inference against him, the Family Court awarded only Rs.20,000/- which is not sufficient to maintain petitioner No.1 and her child. He further submitted that the order of Family Court is from the date of order but not from the date of petition. As per the judgment of Hon’ble Supreme Court in Rajnesh v. Neha1 maintenance has to be
