ORDER:

This Criminal Revision Case is filed challenging the order dated 10.09.2024 passed in Crl.M.P.No.04 of 2022 in M.C.No.70 of 2014 by the learned Judge, Family Court-cum-II Additional District Judge, Hanumakonda.

2. The brief facts of the case are that petitioner No.1, being the legally wedded wife of the respondent No.2, along with her children, had earlier filed M.C.No.70 of 2014 seeking maintenance. The trial Court, by order dated 17.09.2016, directed the respondent to pay Rs.5,000/- per month to petitioner No.1 and Rs.4,000/- per month to petitioner No.4. Subsequently, the petitioner No.1 filed the present petition under Section 127 Cr.P.C. seeking enhancement of maintenance from Rs.5,000/- to Rs.70,000/- per month on the ground that she was suffering from old-age ailments, her children were pursuing higher studies, and the respondent’s income had substantially increased through salary, rent, agricultural income, and business activities.
