THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE N.TUKARAMJI WRIT PETITION No.41497 OF 2017

O R D E R:

This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India seeking the following relief/s:-

“…to issue an appropriate writ, order or direction, more in the nature of Mandamus, declaring the action of the 2nd respondent in harassing the petitioner to settle out the disputes with the 3rd respondent even though the said dispute is purely a civil dispute whereas interfering in the same, as illegal, arbitrary and is in violation of Articles 14, 19, 21 of the Constitution of India and consequently direct the respondents not to interfere with the aforesaid disputes between the petitioner and 3rd respondent….”

2. None appeared for the petitioner.

3. I have heard Mr.M.Srinivas, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home appearing for respondent Nos.1 to 3.

4. The Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home submitted that the petitioner had never approached the respondent police authorities seeking police protection. However, the respondents received a legal notice that lacked specific particulars. Since the petitioner did not approach the police, protection was not extended.
