Mr. Abdul Kabeer, learned counsel for the petitioner and Ms. T. Pushpa Rani, learned counsel appears for Mr. T. Sharath, learned Standing Counsel for Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences, for respondent No.2 (hereinafter referred to as, “the University”).
2. With the consent of the learned counsel for the parties, the matter is heard finally.
3. Petitioner, a resident of Telangana State, obtained management quota, for the academic year 2025-26. He had secured All India Rank 98228 under OC category. Petitioner contends that he submitted an application for admission into MBBS/BDS course, for the academic year 2025-26, under ‘B & C/NRI’ quota with requisite fee before the cut-off date.
However, due to ill health, he could not exercise web option in the first phase of counselling, for admission into MBBS/BDS course, under ‘B & C/NRI quota’ for the academic year 2025-26 before 2:00 p.m. on 24.09.2025, in terms of the notification dated 22.09.2025.
