O R D E R:

This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India seeking the following relief/s:-

“…to issue Writ or Order or Direction more particularly in the nature of Writ of Mandamus etc. declaring the illegal action of the Respondent No. 2 in harassing the Petitioners as illegal, unconstitutional and against the principles of natural justice and pass such other order or orders as this Honble Court deems fit and proper under the circumstances of the case....”

2. None appeared on behalf of the petitioners.

3. Heard Mr.M.Srinivas, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home appearing for respondent Nos.1 to 5.

4. Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home would submit that the allegation on the respondent No.2 harassing the petitioners are unfounded and the petitioners presence were secured for the purpose of investigation in Crime No.158 of 2014 which was subsequently culminated into S.C.No.28 of 2017. Upon filing of charge sheet and the matter is pending for trial on the file of the I Metropolitan Sessions Judge, Nampally, Hyderabad, thus, the petitioners allegations is without substance and prayed for dismissal of the petition.

5. I have perused the materials on record.

6. Having regard to the assertion of the petitioner that the respondent No.2 is harassing and the pendency of Court proceedings reported by the learned Assistant Government Pleader directing the respondent police authorities to refrain from interfering with the petitioners right to life and personal liberty, save and except in strict accordance with law. Ordered, accordingly.

7. With this direction, this writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.

Miscellaneous Petitions, pending if any, shall stand closed.
