ORDER:

Sri Abdul Kabeer, learned counsel for the petitioner.

Sri R. Nagarjuna Reddy, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Health, Medical and Family Welfare Department, appears for respondent No.1.

Sri G. Ravi, learned counsel representing Sri T.Sharath, learned Standing Counsel for Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences (hereinafter referred to as, “the University”), appears for respondent No.2.

2. The petitioner’s application for online registration was found defective as per the notification uploaded on 19.09.2025 on the ground that the SSC certificate did not contain the date of birth. According to the petitioner, he uploaded the relevant SSC certificate containing the date of birth on 22.09.2025 and also submitted a representation to treat his case for counselling in the management quota. However, the same was not considered compelling the petitioner to prefer this writ petition.

On 13.10.2025, learned Standing Counsel for the University submitted that the web options have already been closed and the counselling for A, B and C categories has also been closed and the last mop up round of counselling for the remaining seats is being undertaken. Now, he submits on instructions that the list of ineligible candidates for the reasons of defective applications or for other reasons was uploaded on 17.09.2025 with two days clear time to cure the defect, but the petitioner did not adhere to. The certificate uploaded by the petitioner thereafter could not be entertained keeping his case for counselling under the management quota. He has reiterated that the last MOP Up round for counselling for remaining seats is going to be undertaken.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that since the petitioner has cured the defect and sought to participate in the counselling for the remaining seats for MBBS admission, his representation dated 22.09.2025 may be directed to be considered by respondent No.2 in a timeframe in accordance with law.

5. Learned counsel for the respondent University submits that the representation, if any, would be considered within a reasonable time.

In that view of the matter, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the claim of the petitioner, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction that the representation dated 22.09.2025 of the petitioner be considered by respondent No.2 within a period of two days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No order as to costs.
