ORDER:

This Transfer Criminal Petition is filed under Section 447 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 (for short ‘BNSS’) by the petitioner seeking to transfer the M.C.No.09 of 2024, on the file of the learned Judicial First Class Magistrate at Medak, to the file on any Competent Court at Kukatpally.

2. Heard Mr.Ponnam Ashok Goud, learned counsel appearing on behalf of Mr.Ponnam Mahesh Babu, learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri D.Arun Kumar, learned Additional Public Prosecutor for respondent No.1 -State.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that he was married to respondent No.1 on 25.08.2021 and thereafter disputes aroused between them. Learned counsel for the petitioner further submits that there are criminal cases pending against the father of respondent No.1, and he has received threats to his life, rendering it unsafe to attend the proceedings at Medak Court.
