ORDER:

Aggrieved by the inaction of the respondents in considering the case of the petitioner for reinstatement as Home Guard, along with all consequential benefits, the present writ petition is filed.

2. Heard Sri Mohd. Anwar Ali, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, and learned Government Pleader for Services (Home), appearing on behalf of the respondents.

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner was enrolled in the services of respondent Department as a Home Guard during August, 2011, vide order in D.O.No.569/2011 issued by the Superintendent of Police, Ranga Reddy District. Thereafter, he was directed to work at the RTA Border Check Post, Jallapuram Village, Alampur Mandal, Mahabubnagar District. While so, on the intervening night of 07/08.09.2015, at about 01-30 hours, a surprise check was conducted by the Anti Corruption Bureau authorities, and in connection with the same, he was arbitrarily removed from service vide proceedings dated 02.08.2017. It is further submitted that the Government had passed orders in G.O.Rt.No.798, Transport, Roads & Buildings (TR.VIG) Department, dated 18.10.2024, exonerating the petitioner, Mr. B. Sai Krishna, formerly Assistant Motor Vehicle Inspector, and Mr. L. Kistaiah, formerly Road Transport Officer, RTA Border Check Post, Jallapuram Village, Alampur Mandal, Mahabubnagar District, from the charges. Therefore, the petitioner submitted his representation to the respondents on 02.01.2025, requesting for his reinstatement into service in view of his exoneration from the charges. However, no action has been taken thereon so far. Therefore, learned counsel seeks indulgence of this Court to direct the respondents to consider the aforesaid representation of the petitioner dated 02.01.2025, and pass necessary orders within a stipulated period of time.

4. Learned Government Pleader for Services (Home) fairly submits that the respondents will consider the representation of the petitioner dated 02.01.2025, and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law.

5. Having regard to the submissions made by learned counsel for the respective parties, without going into merits of the case, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 02.01.2025, and pass appropriate orders thereon, strictly in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of six (06) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, and communicate a copy thereof to the petitioner.

Miscellaneous applications, if any, pending in this writ petition, shall stand closed. No costs.
