ORDER

Aggrieved by the action of respondent Nos.1 to 3 in not implementing the provisions of The Street Vendors (Protection of Livelihood and Regulation of Street Vending) Act, 2014 (for short “the Act, 2014), the present writ petition is filed. A consequential prayer is sought to direct respondent Nos.1 to 3 to implement the provisions of the said Act and further to direct respondent Nos.4 to 11 not to harass the petitioners by imposing fine, eviction and confiscation of goods, etc. 2. Heard learned counsel for the petitioners, learned Standing Counsel for respondent No.4 and Mr. R.Laxmikanth Reddy, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home appearing for respondent Nos.5 to 11.

Learned Standing Counsel appearing for respondent No. 4 submits that the provisions of the Street Vendors (Protection of Livelihood and Regulation of Street Vending) Act, 2014 (‘the Act of 2014’) are being duly implemented in letter and spirit.
