ORDER :

This criminal petition is filed under Section 480 & 483 of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 (for short ‘BNSS’) by the petitioner/A.1 seeking his enlargement on bail in connection with Crime No.116 of 2025 of Laxmidevipalli Police Station, Bhadradri-Kothagudem District. The offences alleged against the petitioner are under Sections 8(c) r/w.20(b) (ii)(C) and 29 of Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985 (for short ‘NDPS Act’).

2. The case of the prosecution is that on 21.06.2025 at 09.00 hours, while the complainant-S.I of Police was on his routine duty, he received information about illegal possession and transportation of ganja in an auto. As such, during his check, he apprehended the accused A1 and A2 near Lothunagu Village, Laxmidevipalli Mandal, Bhadradri Kothagudem District who allegedly procured dry ganja from A.3 and A.4 from Yramavaram Mandal, ASR District, Andhra Pradesh, with an intention of selling it to A.5, who is a resident of Zaheerabad and native of Latur, Maharashtra. The accused were transporting 67.870 kilograms of dry ganja, valued at ₹33,93,500/- from Bhadrachala
