THE HON’BLE SRI JUSTICE J. SREENIVAS RAO CONTEMPT CASE No.2252 of 2025

ORDER:

This Contempt Case is filed by the petitioner under Sections 10 to 12 of the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971, seeking to punish the respondent for willful disobedience of the orders dated 30.01.2025 passed by this Court in W.P. No.1293 of 2025. 2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, there is no representation on behalf of petitioner in the morning session and afternoon session.

3. Heard Sri Pulimamidi Shashidhar Reddy, learned counsel for the respondent – contemnor.

4. Learned counsel for the respondent – contemnor submits that the respondent has not violated the orders of this Court, dated 30.01.2025. Pursuant to the said order, the respondent respondent. However, instead of complying with the request and submitting the necessary documents, the petitioner proceeded to file the present Contempt Case. The learned counsel further submits that the respondent is ready and willing to comply with the directions of this Court, provided, the petitioner furnishes the documents sought vide letter, dated 03.04.2025.

5. Having considered the submissions made by the learned counsel for the respondent – contemnor, and after perusing the record, by an order dated 30.01.2025, this Court disposed of W.P. No.1293 of 2025 permitting the petitioner to submit objections/reply to the notice/letter dated 01.01.2025 issued by respondent No.2 within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of the order. On receipt of such objections/reply, respondent No.2 is directed to consider the same and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law within a period of four weeks, after giving the petitioner an opportunity of hearing. The petitioner is also given liberty to raise all available grounds before respondent No.2.

6. Record discloses that pursuant to the above said order, the petitioner submitted reply dated 14.02.2025. Thereafter, office. However, the petitioner, without submitting the requisite documents filed the present Contempt Case.

7. In view of the above, this Court is of the considered opinion that the respondent has not willfully disobeyed the orders dated

30.01.2025 passed by this Court. Hence, no case for contempt is made out.

8. Accordingly, the Contempt Case is closed. There shall be no order as to costs.

Miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
