Heard learned counsel for the petitioners, Sri L.Ravinder, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue and learned Assistant Government Pleader for Stamps and Registration.

2. Petitioners herein are own brothers. According to the petitioners, Smt. Juvineni Laxmi purchased the land admeasuring Ac.1.00 guntas in Sy.No.144/A situated at Bommakal Village, Karimnagar Rural Mandal, Karimnagar District, under a registered Sale Deed bearing document No.5532 of 1997, dated 12.09.1997. She has sold the land admeasuring Ac.0.20 guntas to the petitioners each under registered Sale Deeds bearing document Nos.3095 of 2001 and 3096 of 2001, both dated 28.05.2001. But in the old passbooks, survey number is wrongly mentioned as 144/C instead of Sy.No.144/A. Thus, there is wrong entry.

Therefore, petitioners have submitted representations dated 08.03.2021, 08.06.2021, 09.12.2024, 01.03.2024, 13.05.2025, 17.07.2025 and 09.06.2025 to respondent Nos.2 to 4 with a request to correct the said wrong entry.
