O R D E R:

With the consent of both the parties, this Writ Petition is being taken up for disposal at the admission stage itself.

2. Aggrieved by the action of the respondents in not considering the claim of the petitioner for regularization of his services on or before 25.11.1993 and computing the said service for the purpose of granting pay fixation, pension and pensionary benefits, the present Writ Petition is filed.

3. Heard Sri P.Amarender, learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Government Pleader for Services-III for the respondents.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner was appointed as Daily Wage Worker on 24.01.1982 at Government Social Welfare Boys Hostel, Kotpally Village, Ranga Reddy District and his services were regularized as Cook vide G.O.Rt.No.345, dated 03.05.2011. Subsequently, the petitioner retired from service on 31.03.2025, in the capacity of Hostel Welfare Officer (Grade-II), upon attaining the age of superannuation. It is further submitted that the Government vide G.O.Ms.No.212 dated 22.04.1994 laid down a policy for the regularization of services of daily wage, N.M.R., and part-time employees who had rendered a minimum of 5 years of continuous service (10 years in the case of part-time workers), subject to fulfillment of prescribed conditions and that the petitioner fulfills the conditions stipulated in the said G.O. It is further submitted that in similar circumstances, the erstwhile High Court of Judicature at Hyderabad, vide common order dated 02.05.2018 in W.P.Nos.33936 of 2011 and batch, has directed the authorities concerned to extend the benefit of the judgment in B.Srinivasulu & others v. The Nellore Municipal Corporation represented by its Commissioner, Nellore District, Andhra Pradesh and Others (delivered in Civil Appeal No. 6318 of 2015, dated 17.08.2015) to the petitioners therein by reckoning their services from the date of completion of five years, on or before 25.11.1993 for the purposes of their pension and pensionary benefits. As such, the petitioner made a representation to respondent No.1 on 25.06.2025 for redressal of his grievance and the same is pending consideration. Therefore, learned counsel prays this Court to direct respondent No.1 to consider the same in the light of the common order dated 02.05.2018 in W.P.Nos.33936 of 2011 and pass appropriate orders within a stipulated period of time.

5. Learned Government Pleader for the respondents fairly submits that respondent No.1 will consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 25.06.2025, and pass appropriate orders, in accordance with law.

Having regard to the submissions made by learned counsel for the respective parties and without going into the merits of the case, this Writ Petition is disposed of directing respondent No.1 to consider the representation, dated 25.06.2025, submitted by the petitioner, in the light of the common order dated 02.05.2018 in W.P.Nos.33936 of 2011 & batch, and pass appropriate orders thereon, strictly in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible and communicate a copy of the same to the petitioner.

Miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.

There shall be no order as to costs.
