The learned writ court dismissed the writ petition, W.P.No.20224 of 2023, vide order dated 28.03.2025, wherein the writ petitioner had sought a declaration that the action of official respondents No.1 and 2 in not promoting him to the post of Additional Superintendent of Police (Armed Reserve) as per Seniority List dated 23.06.2022 on par with respondents No.3 to 8 herein as per G.O.Ms.No.12 Home (Services-I) Department dated 15.03.2023, was illegal, arbitrary and in violation of Articles 14, 19 and 21 of the Constitution of India. He had also sought a declaration to set aside Memo No.3930/Ser.1/2023 dated 27.06.2023, as illegal and arbitrary. Being aggrieved, the writ petitioner has preferred this appeal.
