ORDER:

This Criminal Petition is filed by the petitioner – accused seeking to quash the proceedings in C.C.No.97 of 2023 on the file of the learned Principal Judicial First Class Magistrate at Suryapet, registered for the offences under Sections 354 and 323 of the Indian Penal Code.

2. Heard the submissions of Sri Rapolu Bhaskar, learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri Jithender Rao Veeramalla, learned Additional Public Prosecutor for respondent No.1 – State.

3. The learned petitioner counsel has submitted that the petitioner had no intention to insult the de facto complainant and he never tried to outrage her modesty and that the allegations of the complaint also do not attract the said offence. The allegations reveal only injury to the petitioner which is simple in nature and that they do not at all attract the offence under Section 354 of IPC. The petitioner has no animosity against the de facto complainant and that implicating the petitioner under such allegations is not proper and therefore, prayed to quash the proceedings against him.
