JUDGMENT:

Heard Sri K. Hari Mohan Reddy, learned counsel for the appellant and Sri N.S.Bhaskar Rao, learned counsel for respondent No.2. Perused the entire record and citations relied upon by the parties.

This appeal is filed aggrieved by the order passed by the Chairman, Motor Accidents Claims Tribunal-cum-XXIV Additional Chief Judge, City Civil Court, Hyderabad, in M.V.O.P.No.2635 of 2013, dated 05.05.2022, wherein an amount of Rs.2,87,418/- is awarded in a claim petition filed seeking compensation of Rs.8,00,000/- on account of injuries sustained by the appellant in a road traffic accident.

The brief facts of the case are that the appellant met with an accident on 05.01.2013 at about 23:30 hours while he was travelling in an auto rickshaw and when the auto rickshaw reached near Sai Sri Tiffin Centre, Kukatpally, a motorcycle bearing No.AP 9 BJ 5694 came in high speed in rash and negligent manner and hit the auto rickshaw. Due to said accident, the appellant sustained fracture of right leg, head injury and blunt injuries all over the body. Therefore, claim petition was filed seeking compensation of Rs.8,00,000/-
