ORDER :
This Criminal Petition is filed seeking to quash the proceedings against the petitioner/Accused in Crime No.161 of 2021 dated 12.02.2021 on the file of PS, Cyber Crime, Cyberabad, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 406, 420 of IPC and Sections
66, 66-C of Information Technology Act, 2008.

When the matter has been taken up for consideration, learned counsel for the petitioner would fairly submit that in the year 2021 as Crime No.161 of 2021 dated 12.02.2021 on the file of PS, Cyber Crime, Cyberabad, has been registered for the offences punishable under Sections 406, 420 of IPC and Sections 66, 66-C of Information Technology Act, 2008 and that the crime has not been investigated so far and restricts his prayer to direct the respondent/police to conduct investigation in accordance with law, expeditiously file a report before the concerned Magistrate.
3. Learned Assistant Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent/police would submit that the respondent/police shall conduct investigation in accordance with law and file report before the trial Court.
4. Having heard learned counsel for the petitioner, learned Assistant Public Prosecutor and also after perusing the record, this Court is of the considered opinion that since the crime has been registered in the year 2021 and four years have been elapsed, the respondent/police are directed to conduct investigation, strictly in accordance with law and file final report before the learned trial Court, within a period of three months from today. The petitioner is also directed to cooperate with the investigation to arrive at a logical conclusion. Upon filing such report, the trial Court shall conclude trial, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of three months thereafter.
5. With the above direction, this Criminal Petition is disposed of. As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending, shall stand closed.
