In this Writ Petition, the petitioners are seeking a Writ of Mandamus declaring the order of the 1^st respondent dt.29.12.2012 in Rc.No.562/2012/P & E/S/T, as illegal, arbitrary and malafide and as without any authority of law and jurisdiction and consequently to set aside the same and to pass such other order or orders.

2. Brief facts leading to the filing of the present Writ Petition are that the 1^st petitioner is a registered firm engaged in the business of real estate and petitioners No.2 to 4 are its partners. The 1^st petitioner claims to have purchased a land from the 6^th respondent society on 14.05.2012 for a valuable sale consideration. An extent of Ac.36.30 guntas was purchased at the rate of Rs.8,00,000/- per acre for a total sale consideration of Rs.2,94,00,000/- and the 1^st petitioner claims to be in possession and enjoyment of the land from the date of its purchase.
