ORDER:

This Criminal Petition is filed under Section 482 of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhitha, 2023 (for short ‘BNSS’) by the petitioner, who is arrayed as accused No.17, seeking anticipatory bail in Crime No.489 of 2025 of Attapur Police Station, Cyberabad District, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 132, 121 (1), 196, 299, 109 (1), 189 (2), 189 (3) and 191 (2) r/w. 190 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhitha, 2023 (for short ‘BNS’) and Sections 3 and 4 of the Prevention of Damage To Public Property Act, 1984 (for short ‘PDPP Act’).

2. The case of prosecution in brief is that, on 08-06-2025, at around 9:30 PM, near Malliah Towers, a violent clash broke out between two groups, identified as Hindus and Muslims. The Police officers, including a Sub-Inspector and constables on patrol duty, rushed to the scene and attempted to control the mob. Both groups turned hostile, raised communal slogans, and pelted stones at each other and the police. During the incident, the petitioner herein and a police constable sustained serious head injuries.
